Hytera latest multi-mode advanced radio PTC680 TETRA/LTE device has been nominated as one of the Best Hybrid Device of the Year of the 2021 International Critical Communications Awards (ICCA), the most prestigious awards in the field of critical communications worldwide.
The PTC680 is a convergent broadband and narrowband device designed for all communications, providing both mission-critical voice communications and rich multimedia broadband data services on one device.
It will not be the company's only nomination. Hytera has been selected for Best Use of Critical Communications in Utilities by deploying the Hytalk PoC solution for Turkey Electricity Company DICLE ELEKTRIK DAGITIM A.S. (DEDAS), to overcome local network coverage issues, reduce device and service costs, and greatly improve the efficiency of meter readings thanks to a bespoke smart meter reading app.
Also, HMF, Sepura and Teltronic, the sub-brands of Hytera, have been selected as one of the shortlisted entries in many categories of the ICCAs, including Best Narrowband Device of the Year, Best Use of Advanced Technology, Best Use of Critical Communications in Public Safety, etc.
The awards ceremony will take place at the Casino de Madrid, Spain on November 3. The ceremony will be co-located with this year's Critical Communications World (CCW). Hytera will exhibit at Booth H235, Hall 4, Madrid IFEMA.
