We are proudly celebrating our 30th anniversary in the year 2023. Thirty years in business is a great milestone for Hytera. I would like to thank all of you; we have shared this significant journey together and made it a success.

Thirty years ago, the two-way radio market in China was in lack of quality products, which prompted me to start my own business in 1993. Back then I observed that the market needed radios that are of GOOD quality, EASY to use, and RELIABLE for PTT calls. The initials of these three characters in Chinese formed the brand HYT. As a corporate brand, HYT was rebranded as Hytera in 2010 and it still remains the brand for the analog product line now.

30 years of product R&D and technological innovation have transformed Hytera. We keep releasing new products and solutions, from analog to DMR & TETRA and to 4G & 5G LTE, from devices to infrastructure, from dual-mode rugged radio to body-worn camera, and from communication system on demand to integrated command and control room, in response to our customers’ requirements to address their challenges with communications, productivity, and safety.

Much has changed over the years, including the competition landscape, technology evolution & adoption, and micro & macro environment. At the same time, much remains the same. Our founding mission and commitment have propelled us to grow for 30 years; they will remain the same in the years to come.

“Stay True to Our Mission”, the slogan for Hytera’s 30th anniversary, is also a reminder to everyone at Hytera that it is our mission to create value for users and make the world more efficient and safer. We will continue to bring innovative mission-critical and business-critical solutions to our customers from different sectors across the world.

As the founder and president of the company, I am grateful for your trust in Hytera; and I am excited to lead the team to embark on the unfolding journey to a brighter future.
