Question 1: Why did your team decide to create the P5 series?

Honestly, we've been dreaming about this for years. The P5 series is the answer to a question we’ve been asking ourselves: What's next for PoC technology?

To figure it out, we didn't just sit in a room and brainstorm. We went out. We talked to over 200 users across more than 10 countries. We listened to their stories, their frustrations, and their dreams. We dug deep into their needs. And what we learned was clear: the future is all about tailored, scenario-based applications.

Every conversation left a mark on us. Every challenge became a feature idea. Slowly but surely, the vision for the P5 took shape. We knew it wasn't enough to just make a good product. We wanted to make something groundbreaking, something that redefines what a PoC radio can be.

That’s how the P5 series was born. It's smarter, sharper, and more intuitive than anything we’ve done before. We're not just proud of it—we're excited to share it with all of you.

Question 2: Could you tell us about the design style of the P5?

The P5 was designed with one clear goal: to be both professional and visually impressive. Traditional two-way radios are practical but tend to look plain. We wanted to change that.

With the P5, we found a sweet spot between reliability and style. It's tough enough for industries like logistics and manufacturing but also sleek and lightweight for security and transportation. The smooth lines make it comfortable to hold, while the modern design details give it a fresh, professional vibe. It's a tool that looks as good as it works.

Question 3: How does the P5 ensure the reliability of its body as an industry terminal?

Reliability is the backbone of communication. And for industry devices like the P5, it's absolutely essential. That's why we've gone the extra mile to ensure the P5 is built tough to handle anything that comes its way.

It all starts with strict control of the whole process. From the initial planning to the design, and all the way through testing, we've been on top of every step. We ran thousands of environmental tests to make sure everything is rock-solid. Before mass production, the P5 goes through a rigorous testing phase. We've got over 40 different tests — drop resistance, button life, temperature endurance, etc. Each one is tested thousands of times. We want to make sure that when you get your hands on it, it's 100% reliable and durable.

Question 4: What makes the microphone design of the P5 special?

We really focused on the details with the P5 microphone. The design incorporates an optimized internal structure for wind noise reduction, along with damping materials. This effectively reduces the impact of wind and gusts, making the sound much clearer.

And, fitting all this into the device's compact space is no easy feat! Typically, designing a good speaker chamber in such a limited area is tough. But we used an innovative structural design to ensure the receiver has a well-sealed chamber, which significantly improves both acoustic performance and the overall reliability of the device.

Question 5: Can you share the process behind the P5’s interaction design?

Absolutely! At the start, we learned something interesting: users don't just want functionality. They want control. They want to install their favorite apps. They want to put their most-used features front and center.

So, we built the P5 to put users in charge. Here's how:

1. Control Center: Quick access to Wi-Fi, Airplane Mode, and more.

2. Quick Dashboard: Need to check battery, storage, or PoC subscription status? It's all in one place.

3. PoC Group Info: See your group updates right on the lock screen or home screen. No need to open an app.

4. Card-Style Organization: We organized everything into easy-to-find categories. Simple, right?

These are just a few highlights. There's so much more to explore on the P5. Every design choice is about making life easier and work more efficient for our users.

Question 6: What about the antenna? 

Signal strength is everything for a communication device. Especially for security and transportation professionals. A strong signal means faster response times and better safety.

That's why we made signal performance the top priority for the P5. Whether it's a patrol blind spot, a basement, a large warehouse, or a rural area with weak coverage, the P5 stays reliable. Even in dense urban areas, it delivers smooth, stable communication. 

So we picked five cities for field testing, both in China and overseas. We tested everywhere—on highways, in basements, suburban areas, and city centers. The results blew us away. Compared to smartphones and other PoC radios in the market, the P5 had stronger, more stable signals.

Question 7: What are the unique applications of the P5?

The P5 is packed with smart, scenario-based features designed to solve real problems. Let me give you a couple of examples from real-world situations.

First, let's talk about configuration. When our dealers receive the radios, they often need to customize them. This could include importing private network APNs or installing industry-apps. Sounds simple, right? But imagine configuring dozens—or even hundreds—of raidos. It's repetitive, time-consuming, and downright exhausting.

We wanted to make their lives easier. So, we added a Wifi-clone feature to the P5. After configuring one radio, you can use it to clone settings to all others on the same local network. No extra effort, no wasted time—just quick and seamless setup. This feature doesn't just save time. It saves manpower and cuts costs for our partners.

Another challenge users face is with communication groups. Most of the time, users operate within pre-configured groups. But what happens when a sudden task requires you to create a temporary team? Before, this flexibility simply wasn't an option.

That's where quick group feature comes in. You can instantly create temporary groups right on the radio, anywhere, anytime. These groups are automatically disbanded within 24 hours, freeing up resources while meeting urgent needs. It's useful for teams that often deal with high-pressure, fast-changing situations.

Question 8: Are there any other standout features we should know about?

Absolutely! Beyond simplicity, we've focused on safety. This is crucial for users working in risky environments.

The P5 supports man down detection and lone worker modes. Here's how it works: before starting a potentially dangerous task, users can set specific trigger conditions. If something goes wrong—like a fall or prolonged inactivity—the radio automatically sends an alarm to the dispatch system. The dispatch team is alerted in real time, knows exactly who is in danger, and can take immediate action. This feature could be the difference between life and death.

On top of that, the P5 offers a suite of remote management features, like remote control, updates, and notifications. These are designed to give administrators more control over their fleet of radios with minimal hassle. And these are just the beginning. The P5 is built to grow with your needs.
